Paw Paw Trees from Northeast Edible are typically shipped bare root

Trees range from between 1.5-3.5 feet tall and 1/4″ – 1/2″ caliper

We ship fruit trees spring and fall.  All orders after the close of the spring shipping window will ship in the fall.

Fall shipping typically takes place in November

Spring shipping typically takes place in early March through late April

 

PawPaw is North America’s largest native fruit

PawPaws have a distinct tropical look to them yet they are hardy from zones 4-8

Paw Paw fruit ripen in late summer to early fall, mid September to October here at the farm

A native understory, PawPaws produce the most fruit in full sun but can also thrive in shaded environments

Plant 2 or more varieties for pollination.

Pollination with PawPaws can be trying at times, hand pollinating or additional varieties help ensure paw paw pollination.
